Melinda's letter really hit me hard. I too have been looking for
channels that discuss celiac, and while there is one on Dalnet i've only
seen one person in it in all the time i've gone there.

I don't have AOL so i can't create a chat room, but i'm going to create
one on irc.

If anyone wants to join me and talk about this disease, download a
version of mirc if you haven't one already, and join an Efnet server.
irc.prison.net is a good one, not lagged very often. I don't think that
prison net is on the list of servers, so you can always type it at the
bottom.

The name of the channel will be #celiac. For those of you who are
interested and don't know too much about irc, just type /join #celiac
once you connect and it'll take you right there. if anyone has
questions, email me and i'll be happy to give you further instructions,
i'm an old-time irc-er:)

I'm working now, and won't be there during the day, but that doesn't mean
no one else can go in. Talking in real time i think would be really
beneficial for us celiac folk:)
