Hi everyone,

This month, I wanted to share a recent Blog post where I highlighted my Top 12 GLUTEN-FREE FRIENDLY RESTAURANT CHAINS: http://bit.ly/1ulPjr1

Another exciting post from the past couple weeks was the AMAZING CHINA ITINERARY planned by Ellen Morse of Gluten Free Travel-Us and SPECIFICALLY GEARED TO GLUTEN-FREE TRAVELERS. China is a country that is extremely difficult to travel if you are gluten free, since awareness about Celiac and how to safely prepare gluten free meals is almost non-existent, according to Ellen. But now there's an option for gluten free travelers to see this amazing part of the world, along with all the main tourist sites (Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Warriors, Great Wall), multiple cities, and even a Yangtze River cruise!

You can schedule this trip to China any time you like, since it's not a pre-scheduled group tour. Plus, Ellen is happy to make arrangements for groups of any size, whether it's just you and your spouse traveling -- or a large group of extended family or friends. Her itineraries are just "suggested," but you can customize the sites you see at each destination, according to your preference. There is plenty of room to tailor any trip based on your interests, your budget, and the desired length of your stay. All recommended hotels are able to safely prepare gluten free meals, and most meals are included in the price of the trip. We have more details in our Blog post:

If a trip to an all-inclusive resort in MEXICO OR THE CARIBBEAN is more your speed, another travel agent specializing in gluten free travel would be thrilled to help you. Now is the time to book HOLIDAY OR WINTER TRAVEL to get the best rates. There is no charge for her services, and our family has used her for many successful trips. She's also a CRUISE specialist and can point you toward the most GF-FRIENDLY lines. Call Lesley Hayden at 800-487-6110 or email her at [log in to unmask]

Two other quick reminders:

We've added more GF-FRIENDLY COLLEGES to our Gluten Free College Reviews page, so if you have a son or daughter beginning the college search process, be sure to check it out. And if you've already got a GF child in college, please encourage them to SUBMIT A QUICK REVIEW of their college's gluten free dining options. It greatly benefits other GF kids beginning the college search:

If you haven't already, be sure to take a minute to download our FREE MOBILE APP FOR iOS and ANDROID. Called DINE GLUTEN FREE, it enables you to access the thousands and thousands of user-submitted dining and travel reviews found on GlutenFreeTravelSite. Simply search any location in the U.S. or around the world, and you'll get a list of places that have been reviewed. Click through to read the review, call the business, map it, share it, or save it in a "reminders" service. You can easily submit your own reviews directly from the app, too. This is a must-have app for when you're looking for someplace safe to dine when you're "on-the-go."
