In support of National Celiac Disease Awareness Month
Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL will proudly serve gluten free pizza in
the
Oasis dining room today Friday, May 15th from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 a.m.
The dining room is open to all visitors, employees and to the community.
This past Wednesday, the lecture Celiac Disease: Living a Gluten-free
Life was given by gastroenterologist, Ruben Gonzalez-Vallina and
registered dietitian, Natalie Romero.
In an effort to continue to raise awareness Baptist Health South
Florida, will be sponsoring the new local support group, Gluten Free in
South Florida. The first meeting will be Monday, June 1st ,7-9:00 p.m.
The meetings will take place the first Monday of every month at Women's
Health Resource Center, 8950 North Kendall Drive, Suite 105, Baptist
Medical Arts Building, First Floor.
