In response to a recent inquiry as to the Gluten Free status of several
bacon and frankfurter products made by this company, I received this
reply "Thank you for taking the time to contact us at the John Morrell
Food Group.  All bacon and franks made by us are free of wheat, rye,
barley & oats, which are the known sources of gluten."

The current USDA Meat and Poultry Inspection Directory listing plant
names and addresses can be accessed at
