I am looking for a Chocolate Cherry Cake that I can make from scratch using
a can of cherry pie filling.  Below is the cake mix directions.  Can anyone
help me?

Chocolate Cherry Cake

1 box Pillsbury Plus Devils Food Cake Mix
1 - 21oz can cherry pie filling
1 tsp almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Mix by stirring.  Grease and flour 9x13" pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 -
30 minutes.
