Howdy fellow pals!

I just received my gene test from enterolab. It said I do not have the Q2
or Q8 but I DO have the HLA DQ1. I have been GF four months, and have a
positive IgG only. All of Dr Fine;s tests were certainly positive for
gluten intolerance, so it is a no brainer as to eating gluten or not.

Here is my question.

WHAT would the HLA DQ1 gene mean to you if anything? Would you just assumed
you had gluten sensitivity and leave it at that? I am only asking because I
have a severe balance and vertigo / dizziness disorder for 6 years, and 20
years of combined additional health issues...all not diagnosed. ALSO I am
not deficient in B12 or any of that, so the vertigo seems un related.

I read somewhere that the HLA DQ1 can be associated with neurological
implications and balance. ANyone know anything about that? The end result
is the same, I will be gluten free, I am just curious to know if the
balance may actually be related to gluten, as I NEVER EVER thought the two
were connected for me, as my balance is greatly impaired....

Thanks for letting me ramble on!
