Hi -my query had been for places to stay and/or eat on the Aran Islands. I
did not receive any info about the Aran Islands, unfortunately, so we
changed our itinerary and do not plan to stay there ( I also could not find
specific info in other sources).

I got a lot of responses which said eating gf in Ireland is quite easy, but
I was concerned about this specific destination as my guidebook stresses
their adherence to simple, traditional foods, and there are very few choices
about where to stay and eat. We will go over just for a daytrip and
bring some food with us.

I have a follow-up question for anyone who has traveled in Ireland
recently- are you able to find some basic gf foods in grocery stores, or
do we need to locate health food stores?

Thanks, lynn
