Hello everyone,
I am a celiac and a photographer/writer located in southern NH. I am
currently working with a new magazine for kids called Kidz Rule USA. Every
month the magazine includes a column about a child who is living with a
challenge. (Last month the article was about a girl with cochlear
implants.) I proposed to the publisher that we write an article about
someone with celiac. I thought this would be a good way to get the word out
about the illness. The publisher accepted the proposal and now I am seeking
a child aged 6-12 who has celiac and is willing to talk about the challenges
of living with it. I plan to make the article also focus on the child's
hobbies or special talents that are unrelated to celiac. Since this is a
local magazine, I am looking for someone in the northern MA or southern NH.
I will need to meet with you to take a photo of your child and interview
him/her. Please contact me if you think your child would be interested in
this. If you want more information, you can find the magazine web site at
www.kidzruleusa.com

Thanks,
Melissa Mannon
