Recently, I ordered a batch of bagels and rolls from Sterks Bakery. I
ordered them without milk products and corn starch. I ate them twice and
got very gassy and bloated with spasms just like I do now when I have a
gluten accident.   I am wondering if anyone else has any reaction to
xathan gum as this is the only thing I could think of that would do it.
I am allergic to molds and xanthan gum is a corn deritivitive that is
fermented.   There is no label with ingredients on the packages like
there is with other food you buy. Has anyone had had any reactions to
any of their products. This was a first for me with anything I ever
ordered elsewhere.
