Here's yesterday's post again, without all the annoying added punctuation
this time:

As most of you know, the First Annual Walk for Celiac Disease will be taking
place the weekend of May 4-5, 2002. There will be events in more than 30
cities across the U.S. and internationally to raise money for Celiac research
and to increase awareness of Celiac Disease. In the New York metropolitan
area, the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support Group and the Celiac Disease
Center at Columbia University will be co-sponsoring a 3-mile walk Sunday May
5, at Rockland Lake State Park, Route 9W, Congers, N.Y, just minutes from the
Tappan Zee bridge. Funds raised will be donated to the University of
Maryland Center for Celiac Research and to the Celiac Disease Center at
Columbia University.

For those of you from this area ( and we know there's lots of you out there )
this is your chance to take part in an event that will be historic and
important for all people whose lives are touched by Celiac Disease. Here's
what you can do:

1) Walk with us through beautiful Rockland Lake State Park. Registration is
at 9:00 A.M. The Walk starts at 10:00 A.M.

2) If you can't join us, send in a donation, in any amount. Donations are
tax-deductible.

3) For those of you who have children, get the kids involved! We have pledge
sheets they can take around school, or the neighborhood to get contributions.
It's a great way to get them involved helping the entire Celiac community.

For more information, go to www.celiacwalk.org and click on Cities, and then
scroll down to the New York State listings. Click on Westchester Celiac
Sprue Support Group, Congers, N.Y. You can find out more about the Walk, and
download a Registration Form. If you have any questions, you can e-mail us
at [log in to unmask] There will be gluten-free snacks and a raffle afterward.
Thanks for your support.
