Hi, everyone,
I've been following a GF diet for over a decade and haven't had this situation before. I'm hoping for some advice.
I use my Pampered Chef stoneware baker for most of my oven roasting. It is well seasoned and dark in color from all the years of use.
Mom has moved in and we are now sharing cooking duties. Last night she prepared some chicken in the pan using College Inn broth as a liquid. It has wheat in it and was in the refrigerator from a recipe she made for herself the other day. Naturally, I didn't eat the chicken for dinner, but then Mom asked if the pan was ruined to me.
I know that the stoneware absorbs, but was wondering if this is still the case since it's so well used. My question-should I discontinue using it for my food, or is it still safe?
Thanks,
Linda
