Sorry this is late, everyone, but I kept getting
responses, and they didn't stop until this afternoon.

I got a lot of responses - about 35 on this.
The vast majority of the 35 take Diflucan with no problem.

One listmate said the generic version is not gluten-free,
so bought the brand name only. Another said that both
the brand name and generic are GF. There may be more
than one manufacturer of the generic. I don't know.

One listmate said Diflucan is hard on the liver, and took
Candi-Gone by RenewLife (online or at some health food
stores) instead.

I tried buying the Candi-Gone and took it at night, two nights
ago. Starting an hour later, I was up all night with stomach
and intestinal cramps. I won't take it again. I am allergic to
something in it (has several different herbs).

A few listmates said taking Culturelle, a pricy probiotic -
clinically proven strain of Lactobacillis - would help. One
take Culturelle when she takes Diflucan. Two listmates
said taking Culturelle helps prevent their getting yeast
infections.

Diflucan, brand name, is gluten-free. All agreed on this.

A couple of listmates had problems with taking Diflucan:
One had skin sensations, a disturbed gut, and disturbances
in vaginal flora for months after taking it.

One had to take it every 3 days for a month and got hives,
so had to take Allegra (and a shot) with it.

That's about it.
Thank you all!
Vicki
