Over the weekend I tried out a new cookbook called The Wheat-Free Kitchen, a
celebration of good food by Jacqueline Mallorca. The publisher is Farthing
Press, P. O. Box 471171, San Francisco, CA 94147-1171. I tried a muffin
recipe which was definitely ok (non gf standards) and a fritatta recipe which
was very good - I would definitely do them again, for non gf friends. The
book is very attractive and appealing in a handy spiral format. No, I have no
financial interest. I like the book - I like to see more real gourmet food
writers paying attention to this issue, I wish them success and I hope to see
more similar efforts. Thanks, Christina Oldenburg
