I didn't receive any information about primary care physicians but did
receive some information about pediatric and adult GI.  There is also good
information in the archives listing GIs in addition to those in this
summary.  What follow is a list of GIs that list readers sent to me.  Hope
it is useful now or in the future.

Pediatric GIs

Dr. Gary Russell at Mass General hospital

Dr. Jeffrey Biller Pediatric GI at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts-
New England Medical
Center in Boston (We found him extremely qualified as a physician but
incredibly
insensitive as a person")

Dr. Harlan Winter at MGH and Newton Wellesley
Hospital ("His approach to the gf diet is that we should be very strict but
he
is a big proponent of trying to make sure that kids have normal lives and
it
has been the right approach for us.")

Dr. Aubrey Katz ((781) 466-8988 is his Waltham office)Floating Hospital for
Children at Tufts-New England Medical
Center in Boston  ("We feel comfortable with Dr. Katz b/c he listens to our
concerns and always follows up on them.")(I cannot say enough great and
positive things about our experience at Floating (with the
exception of Dr. Biller's attitude three years ago) including the kind and
caring staff in the AMB SURG Department!


Adult GI

Dr. Nezam Afdhal at Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston  ("He is very
personable and caring")
