I got a call from Delimex in response to my inquiry about their Chicken and
Beef Taquitos.

There are two varieties out there- those with soy sauce are not gluten
free, but those that don't list soy sauce are. The modified food starch is
corn starch. I suggested they label them with "modified corn starch" and
she said that was a good suggestion that she would pass on.

I ran out and got some and tried them and they are delicious! So nice to
have a ready made treat to enjoy.

Right next to them in the freezer case was a Wegman's store brand
shepherd's pie with a mashed potato crust. It was labelled with "modified
corn starch." So this idea may be catching on!
