Hi all-
Has anyone had experience with either of these drugs and their  
generic forms?  Our daughter has a sinus infection/bronchitis and the  
doctor gave her one prescription for each, saying that they wouldn't  
cause any side effects, particularly stomach upset .  She was  
supposed to do some research to decide which antibiotic she preferred  
to take.

In addition to having celiac sprue, she is on Prilosec for stomach  
acid,  has a candida problem, and has a sensitivity to milk (she  
feels sick from the tiny amounts of milk used as filler in many  
medicines).  Virtually every medicine she takes upsets her stomach,  
so we are hesitant to start her on an antibiotic without looking into  
it and also into alternatives first.

Would appreciate any experiences, information, thoughts.  Since it is  
the weekend, she is going to hang in there until Monday when we can  
contact the manufacturer to find out about gluten and dairy.  I will  
summarize and include what we learn from the manufacturers.
