I'm a diagnosed Celiac who has been GF for approximately 6 years. I was
pretty much asymptomatic until the very end when I get extremely ill and was
diagnosed by a naturopath and followed up with a colonoscopy and endoscopy.

My sister is 47 years old, has type 1 diabetes and was diagnosed with Celiac
a few years back. Like me, she is has no symptoms when she ingests gluten
and almost scorns my attentiveness to what I eat. Does anyone know of an
article or web site etc, that discusses the complications of untreated celiac?
I'd like to have one or two concise things I can send to her (and the rest of
my family) so that they understand this isn't just about a little occasional
gas.

Thanks for the help!
