In correspondence with my S. Indian friend Aruna, she asked about sago. I
looked it up, and found a GF starch that wasn't mentioned in the FAQ. It is
from the pith of tropical palms (tapioca is from the pith of tropical
plants). Together we developed a FAQ which includes: an encyclopedia
excerpt, where to buy sago, substituting tapioca, and 10 recipes covering
sweets, snacks, pancakes, patties, wafer preserves, puddings, and gruel.

Since the file grew to 14K bytes in length, it is too big to post it to the
