In reference to the recent post about meds:

A pharmacist friend reminded me that in the US, meds are bound with
wheat, corn or lactose. So those who have problems with cow's milk, or
are lactose intlerant, need to make sure that their meds are lactose
free as well as gf.

My question: What about casein? Lactose is a sugar, casein a protein.
Would I need to worry about casein in meds?

Janice.
