Hi,

Someone stated that the Taco Salad shell was made of wheat.  That's
correct because the shell is made from a flour tortilla.  The corn
tortilla's are used in the tostada and a taco, but the meat filling in
the taco does have oats as an ingredient in the spices.  The sauce has
vinegar in it.  In the past I've also seen "modified food starch" which
can be made from a gluten source.  The cheese has annatto for coloring,
which is on the "not safe" list because it can be made from a gluten
source.  I don't know if the additive annatto means that the cheese is
"processed" because I am not familiar with the making of cheese.

So as it has been stated, Taco Bell is OK as long as the only food items
gluten free are the Tostada and the Pintos, both without sauce and cheese.
