After seeing a pulmonary specialist for recurring bronchitis, I was told
that I may have a mild form of asthma and was given a prescription for an
inhaler called Flovent (fluticasone propionate, 110mcg). I understand from
past postings that some believe in a relationship between cd and asthma.
If this relationship exists, then maybe I do not need to treat the asthma
symptoms. I am not a big fan of pharmaceutical drugs and avoid them unless
necessary. If a GF diet is sufficient to treat this problem, I will stick
with the diet and bag the drugs. I would appreciate any response to this
theory from folks who have had this kind of experience or from those who
know something about the cd/asthma link. Thanks.
