I have in the past ordered buttermilk bread from Grandma Ferdon's. It is
extremely good bread - ranks up there in the top three breads that I have found
since being diagnosed 11 years ago and starting this gluten free diet. Now
the folks at Grandma Ferdon's have really done it! I ordered a loaf of their
new cocktail pumpernickel bread and it is fantastic! It's been a long time
since I tasted pumpernickel bread, but I'm pretty sure that this tastes very,
very close to what I used to eat, pre-GF. I have sent the folks at Grandma
Ferdon's a thank you note and asked if they plan to make a full-sized loaf of
the pumpernickel. Their reply was that they are working on it. Hooray!!

I have no financial interest in this company, just a satisfied customer. By
the way, do try their buttermilk sandwich bread and their lemon bars -
super! They're at

Happy sandwich eating!
