I thought I'd share this story, which I know will warm the heart of every parent of a celiac kid on the list...

My daughter just had her last day of 3rd grade today...her teacher has been quite good about Emma's CD all year, and we have kept a GF snack drawer in the classroom for when there are special treats-- and there just unavoidably *are* gluten-y goodies brought in by well-meaning parents and suchlike. Anyway Emma came home with a bag today and pinned to the outside was a big note in the shape of a flower which says, "Thank you for never getting upset when the class had a treat you couldn't eat. So this summer you and Mom can make treats and you can EAT them!" Inside the bag are 2 boxes of Cherrybrook Kitchen-- one GF chocolate cake mix and one GF chocolate frosting. Just so sweet and thoughtful of her! Far and away my favorite teacher thus far!
