     Several people wrote to clarify my confusion over the GF status
of Herb-Ox bouillon cubes, and add a couple of GF items. My thanks to

    Addition to GF bouillon and soup base summary:

- Yes, Herb-Ox bouillon is GF, both granulated and in cubes. The
number to call is 1-800-523-4635.

- Maggi cubes are also GF. The hvp listed as an ingredient is from
corn or soy, as reported by the company to Bev in Wisconsin.

- Gourmet Award chicken soup base is GF. Bev also recommends their
salt-free, MSG free version, also GF.

- Better than Bouillon is GF but contains lactose.
