I received four replies regarding the gluten free status of the medication, Vytorin (a statin drug).

Two people who are currently taking it said it was definitely gluten free and it has worked well for them.

One person didn't know but recommended I contact my physic.

One person also didn't know, but said that anyone of childbearing age should not take it because it could cause birth defects.
