I purchased this product several weeks ago in an Oriental market in
Connecticut (USA). I e-mailed the distributor seeking information on the GF
status, but have not received a response. Has anyone else tried this? The
ingredient list:"Sugar, ground almond, modified potato starch, dextrose,
salt, ground peanuts. Made on equipment shared with ground walnut and
sesame." Product of Hong Kong, imported by Bestfoods Canada Inc.

I'd appreciate any information, as well as others' opinions if this is worth
trying (are gluten-containing grains grown in the Hong Kong region?). Is
dextrose a red-flag ingredient? I am encouraged by the shared equipment
allergen warning.

Thanks!
