I would agree, that the number of prescription medications that contain gluten is very low, but it is also true that many who react negatively to gluten also are sensitive to lactose and/or corn - and many other foods - i.e. soy.  

The answer to all of this problem is that ALL medications and ALL foods that are processed should have a complete listing of ALL ingredients.  

We've done quite well with getting the food industry to label things that contain gluten, but there is more work to be done.
