Susan asked about turkey stuffing. Since stuffing is not something I want
to spend my calories on, I make regular bread stuffing, or let someone else
make it, but bake it in a casserole, and not in the bird. Then I can eat
the bird, no problem, and they can eat the stuffing with gravy. Make sure
you buy a turkey without any additives, some are injected with commercial
flavorings which are suspect. I buy kosher turkeys which are more
expensive but definitely pure. A fresh turkey rather than frozen is also
likely to be ok, check with the butcher where you buy it to make sure it
has no additives.

Since I always supply the turkey, I usually let someone else make the
stuffing.
