I've seen pictures of villi and the surface of the small bowel (both healthy
and with celiac), but the scale of the picture is never shown.  What's the
size of the villi?  Millimeters, 1/10 mm, or 1/1000 mm.

I have slides from my own biopsy but don't know what microscope magnification
to use.

Any references?
