I first learned of Celiac Disease a few weeks ago in a book from Reader's
Digest. I have (and have for years) some of the most common sypmtoms. (my
clinic has a two-month waiting list, so diagnosis may be a long wait)

A medical question some of you who've had blood tests may be able to answer:
what is "Absolute Eosin?"

In 1995 I had a company-paid-for blood test/health screening; some readings
were out of normal range (red blood cells I understand, Eosin I've never
heard of). Normal for Absolute Eosin was a range of 50-550 cells/mcl, but my
reading was 29. Does this have anything to do with ability to absorb
nutrients? Any information is appreciated.
