Hi Group,

Dumb question but can a celiac get DH ..or other related skin rash from
handling ..not ingesting, wheat flour? I am a biopsy diagnosed celiac 13
years ago. I haven't baked with wheat flour for awhile.. but it never used
to bother me in this way. I got sick once...from ingesting it while I baked.
But I made several wheat flour pastry pies the other day, son's 21st
birthday.. and now have a very itchy raised and red rash on one hand..on the
palm. Any other experiences with this? Could it be DH? Or are the 2
completely separate diseases? Poison ivy isn't out yet and I have no other
known allergies. Thanks ahead of time for any responses.

By the way does everyone know about the gluten free bake shop in Vancouver
B.C.? In Kitsilano on Cornwall St.? I went there last week and it was
wonderful! I forgot the name..it's like Riz Panno ..but it's on the corner
of Walnut St and Cornwall just before the Burrard Street bridge.
 Have a nice spring day.
