I spoke to Steve Kass at Tofutti Brands.  He assured me that the
plain Better Than Cream Cheese is gluten free.  He canot guarantee
the other flavors are because of natural flavoring.  So, if you can't
have milk products because of allergy or lactose intolerance.  this
is a good subsitute.  You can add your own dehydrated onion and herbs
