I have received about twenty responses to my question about healing and
symptoms. The majority state that we are all individuals.

This is an excerpt that raises another question...

The onset of symptoms, however, can be very rapid. Symptoms, such as nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, etc. may appear very rapidly in response to relatively
tiny quantities of gluten that would be unlikely to cause any change in the
villous morphology of the intestines.

My question. I thought symptoms occurred in the intestine. That the gluten
sort of caused the lining to be plastered down like paste was laid over the
lining and absorption was stalled and dierreah was a result. If I were to
take in gluten tonight and experienced diarrhea tomorrow, it seems a bit soon
to be doing that kind of damage. I also do not understand having a gastric
or stomach reaction. I have had both in minor aspects and do not know if it
was gluten or not.

I do take this diet seriously and watch what goes in.

I do not quite have a grip on the autoimmune aspect of the disease either.

I feel like I am beating a dead horse with this line of questioning. Bear
with me and thanks for your continued kindness.

Blessed Be!
