Hi again,

Quaker has stated that the ingredients are gluten free but they are unable to claim GF status since the potential for cross-contamination cannot be ruled out. Given this, I posted a question as to whether any of the Listserver members may have had reactions when eating these rice cakes. The answers are summarized:

10 respondants stated that they consume these regularly and have no reaction. (One funny guy said he ate an entire bag last night and had no reaction. :)
3 respondants stated that they have had reactions in the past, some as long as 14 years ago.

Lundberg rice cakes and Pathmark's rice crackers were proposed as safe alternatives for people who choose not to consume Quaker rice cakes.

Have a nice day,
Teresa
