Dear Listmembers,

I have gotten a great deal of good information from this list and as a
recently diagnosed CD sufferer, I greatly appreciate it. I wish,
however, to set the record straight on the GF status of Baked Lays and
Jif Peanut Butter.

I called Frito Lay just a few days ago. As of February 1998 plain Baked
Lays are GF! Prior to this date the hydrolyzed vegetable protein was
wheat based. I just a few moments ago called Proctor and Gamble about
Jif Peanut Butter. All Jif Peanut Butters are GF!
