These are the recommendations for eating gluten free in the Grand Rapids and Sugatuck, MI areas

Grand Rapids : Timbers Inn (just north of GR, chef was willing to change preparations to gf needs), TGI Friday's, BOB (big old building) various restaurants and prices, Charlie's Crab (great seafood), Duba's, Outback Steakhouse (2 of them) (one on Alpine suggested for seafood, server was helpful), Sayfee's (helpful, scallops in garlic butter recommended), Arnie's Restaurants (3 of them--servers need instruction, but they use Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce) Grandview area Brann's, Russ', Wendy's, Rainbow Grill, Jerry's Country Inn (great for breakfast), Mountain Jack's, Pat's Health Food store has limited gf items

Grand Haven: Mountain Jack's, Bil Mar

Saugatuck/Douglas : The Butler

Union Pier (near MI/IN border) : The Inn and Union Pier --the best gf meals one responder says, let chef know and they will change the menu around to suit!!, Hannah's, and The Roadhouse

Thanks to all the responders! There is an excellent array of choices, and I'm hungry just listing them here!! :-)
