Hi,

Since posting my summary regarding the gf status of Elocon, I received the
additional information from one of the people using clobetasol propionate
to treat his DH.

"That is true, but that stuff is very strong.
Use sparingly and not longer than 2 weeks
without taking a 2 week break.

When I used it on and off, it controls the itch
but eventually (6 mos to 1 yr) it caused my
skin to tear off very easily. Best to find the
offending gluten or dairy source causing the
problem and eliminate that.

My 1st dermatologist "treated" me for 2.5 years.
I didn't try the clobetasol propionate till after about 1 year
or so. They do warn you about using it. And I did follow
their instructions. It really controls the itch but at a price."

Have a great day,

Amy
