Alerted by another list member I checked on the web regarding ingredients  
in these cosmetics.  One of their products (specifically shampoo) contains  
barley and is labeled gluten free.  I e mailed the company in this regard  
and received a quick reply which stated: "Our Volumizing Shampoo and 
Conditioner  are indeed gluten free, the Hydrolized Barley is a specific, highly 
purified  protein.  It's not Barley Extract or ground-up Barley, but rather a  
specific protein isolated from Barley. Gluten is another protein altogether 
and  is not contained in our raw material." This ingredient was not listed 
in any of  the products that I purchased however based on this I choose not 
to trust  their labeling so I felt it necessary to pass this information on
