Just a little over a week until the First International Walk/Run for Celiac
Disease May 4. Proceeds benefit the Center for Celiac Research in Baltimore.

Our Southern California event is in beautiful La Jolla, winding along the
coastline above La Jolla Cove. We'll be doing free celiac testing, courtesy
of Prometheus Laboratories Inc. Michelle Pietzak, M.D. (renowned researcher
and pediatric GI at Childrens Hospital L.A.) has graciously donated her time
and expertise to oversee the testing.

Bette Hagman, famous cookbook author (Gluten-Free Gourmet series) will be
our guest of honor! She'll be autographing books and taking part in the
walk/run.

We have people from Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, New
Mexico, and Utah coming, so distance isn't an acceptable excuse. Air fares
are cheaper now than ever!

Join us for this terrific event. For more information, go to
www.celiacwalk.org and look for the La Jolla event, or go to www.a-thon.com.
You can call me for info at (858) 395-5421 or e-mail me at

Let's make tracks for celiacs!
