I was diagnosed with celiac disease a little over 3yrs ago by biopsy and
was given some literature from my GI as to how to adhere to a gf diet.
Since then I have not revisited my doctor. I have had a lot of improvement
in how I feel but still have periods of the usual celiac symptoms. I
usually chalk those up to having accidentally ingested gluten but sometimes
cannot pin point how. My question is that I have been reading about people
going to their doctors for further test after diagnosis for follow up and
am wondering if I am missing something I should be doing. Also I am
curious, I've read about irritability and fuzzy brain problems with
celiacs. Is this something that should disappear when gluten is
eliminated.--Thanks for any nfo you can provide. Anita
