I have not gotten too many responses about vanilla.  One person wrote that
she uses any vanilla and has no problem, two wrote that McCormick Vanilla is
fine.  Someone else wrote that the distillation of the alcohol destroys all
gluten and all alcohol in vanilla is distilled.
