GF skin products summary enclosed~
Please check w/ manufacturers to validate current GF status!

I currently use Neutrogena shampoo -- the regular or sensitive skin
formulas and Pantene Pro-V hair conditioner. I also use Vidal Sassoon
alcohol-free hair gel.

In winter I use Ivory Moisture Care soap
Neutrogena soaps are fine -- but not the gel for showers.
My favorite soap is Pears transparent soap.

Vitamin E in lotions really causes me problems.

The one that seems the safest is Clinique products. I use their
shampoo and conditioner (even though they're expensive) because they
don't give me a reaction. They do, however, seem to cause some buildup
over time, so every two weeks or so I use Johnson's Baby Shampoo, which
is also gf, but tends to strip the oil from my hair.

The problem is not so much in soap, but in detergents. Both my daughter
and I are very sensitive ( I had rosacea, she has contact dermatitis).
We finally came to the realization that the only safe cleaner to use is
DR BRONNER'S LIQUID CASTILE SOAP--available in healthfood stores and
some discount stores. It is highlly concentrated (18-1)

I find Dove is okay

There is also a wonderful company called Coastline that makes a line of
skin and hair care products which have no fragrance or bad things in
them. The number is l-800-554-4lll. They even ship for free! I use
their Unscented Sensitive Skin Formula Moisture Retaining Lotion and
their Creme Rinse Conditioner (for after shampooing) and the products are
really great and inexpensive.

Found in health food stores:
Earth Science Products made by Earth Science, Inc., P.O. Box 1925, Corona,
CA 91718. Toll-Free (800)222-6720. 100% Money-back guarantee
        1. Earth Science Almond-Aloe Facial Moisturizer that is rich and creamy
without being greasy (bottle with white cap is unscented). I also use it
for hand cream and sparingly all over after a shower. It is the best
lotion I have ever found and has improved my skin immensely--no more trips
to the dermatologist.
        2. Earth Science makes many other products that I have not used, eye
cream and others I can't remember.
        3. Earth Science Unscented shampoo which is thick and rich and wonderful
for the hair. They also make a couple with fragrances which I have never
tried.
        4. Earth Science unscented conditioner. I don't use much of it, but I
keep it on hand for house guests.
Also found in health food stores is the best sun screen ever made. It
is also the only one I've found that doesn't irritate my skin. It is called
Lily of the Desert Skinsaving Sunblock, SPF40 made by Lily of the Desert,
8726 W. Royal Lane, Irving, TX 75063.

For soap I use Unscented Pure Pleasure Glycerine Cleansing Bar made by
Surrey, Inc. (You can find them online by searching Yahoo for "Surrey,
Inc." The soap is carried by some Wal-Mart stores. I order it from Surrey
by calling (512)267-7172) and order 24 3.4 oz bars for $18.80 including
shipping. You must specify "all unscented" or you will get a mixture of
scented soaps.

Trader Joe's stores have a French Milled fragrance free, color free,
Colonial House Soap (hand soap--cute bars--nice for company too). It is
mile enough to use in the shower--never burns my skin. Two bars for 99
cents--but I still prefer the Pure Pleasure.
Trader Joes has a dishwashing liquid that is Free of Dyes with a natural
Citrus Fragrance, Non-toxic, Vegetable Based and Non-abrasive. Their
Automatic Dishwashing Detergent is Phosphate-free, No Fragrance Added,
Chlorine-Free, No Dyes, and Biodegradable.

Buy shampoos with no sulfates and make sure it is ph balanced
GF shampoos: Earth Science, Neutrogena, Emulsion, DHS Shampoo, Johnson &
Johnson ultrasensitive baby shampoo, Clinique Shakley, Amway, Almay.
NOT gluten-free: Clairol, Lancomb, L'Oreal, Polo

Pantene Pro-V shampoo & conditioner with extra body for fine hair is GF,
it's made by Proctor & Gamble, and their phone # is 1-800-945-prov. I use
Clairol Herbal Essence conditioner, clean rinsing formual, and Clairol's #
is 1-800-223-5800. I use Softsoap gentle antibacterial body wash with
vitamin E, made by Colgate-Palmolive, and their # is 1-800-255-7552. Hope
this helps. I was assured by all these companies that these three products
are GF.

Vit E might be a problem if it was derived from wheat instead of soy. Most
alpha-hydroxy acids are derived from fruit or sugar cane. I have used lots of
Kiss My Face products without a problem.

Suave and Suave baby care are GF,
Johnson and Johnson are GF, jhirmack are Gf

Dove and Ivory soaps are GF and Dial antibacterial are GF.

GF Deodorants: Almay clear roll-on antiperspirant, Charlie body powder, Arm
& Hammer deodorant & anti-perspirant, Lady Mitchum clear roll-on
antiperspirant

GF Mouthwash: Arm & Hammer, Equate

Thanks all for your help.
