Hello everybody,
I need help. I am not still celiac diagnosed yet, and I am
discussing with my doctor about this possibility because the simptoms that
celiac disease shows are very similar to what I have been suffering for many
years. But, there is only one factor that is not checking with the celiac
simptoms description, I have read a lot of information in this site and
always mention that being anemic (iron deficiency (anemia)) and with weight
loss is part of the main simptoms. My doctor says that as I am not in this
case, on the contrary, I am 4 kilos up since 2 years, so he thinks the
biopsy is not necessary and I am not a Celiac. Have been any of you in this
case before that could advise me if there are exceptions of this rule? Do
you think I should still try to have the biopsia? I'll appreciate a lot your
comments.
Thanks. Regards.

Fernando Gaytan.
