I happened to see Moon Dough in Walgreen Pharmacy today and was going to buy it so I could use it with my grandchildren....who are Playdough age. I won't do Playdough with them, because I don't want to handle it. (They're not gf, but I am.) I remember how invasive Playdough was when my kids were little.

So I got all excited about the Moon Dough, which said wheat-free and allergen sensitive or something like that....until I got on line and another customer told me that the product is like sand, and that it crumbles and is very messy. So back on the shelf, it went.

I know I had a recipe years ago for homemade playdough, which I could dig out, if I really felt inclined, but I'm curious about the Moon Dough. Are there any listmembers who have used Moon Dough and liked it? If it's any good, I'll buy it and put it aside for my next trip out to visit my kids.....I was also thinking of the moms on this listserv who are concerned about Playdough in school.

Thanks, Lin
