Hi All--

Someone on the list just posted a message about wanting to know how many on this list have been diagnosed with celiac, but have few if any gastrointestinal symptoms (my apologies for not having a name, but I was in such a rush to get this article posted). Someone on this list sent me this link when I posted my query about adult nocturnal incontinence. (NOTE: Type the link into your browser on one line or the link won't work properly)

For many of us who have neurological symptoms, central nervous system damage, fatigue, kidney disease, brain lesions, etc., this article (abstract) might be the best hypothesis/answer to why we suffer from these things. Rather than looking at celiac as a gastrointestinal disease, perhaps it falls into the category of "syndrome" where multiple body systems are involved.

Just wanted to pass along a very interesting bit of reading.

Cheers,
Ayn in Alabama
