Are there any medical people or others out there who can tell me how pelvic radiation might affect someone with celiac disease?
I've just recently had a complete hysterectomy for uterine cancer and my Dr. is recommending pelvic radiation (for stage 1C and grade 1 tumor).
My CD was biopsy diagnosed 5 yrs. ago and I've been following the GF diet carefully. Therefore, I presume I'm as normal as a normal person receiving radiation. BUT, I'm wondering if that's true and how radiation might affect healed villi (after I worked so hard to heal them)!
Anyone been through this before and addressed this question?
