Hello all,
I'm curious if there's documented evidence that topical cosmetics, shampoos,
creams etc. which aren"t actually digested can effect the intestines. It's my
inderstanding that the damage that gluten does for a celiac is specifically
related to the intestines . I know that people have skin reactions but I"d
like to know whether these are in fact symptoms of gluten intake or allergic
reactions. I don"t seem to be as sensitive as some people and don"t seem to
have reactions to a hair preparation that contains hydrolized whole wheat
protein but I"d like to know if I"m compromising my system nonetheless.
Thanks, judy in nyc.
