I received some suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing.

Whole Foods Store on Roosevelt Rd going west from the loop 1 mile.
The Big Bowl
Stir Crazy  (No addresses given)
Uno Chicago Grill has GF menu
Pizzeria Uno
Pizzaria Due and Su Casa in downtown Chicago

Water Wall in summer-very beautiful
