Hi Pat and fellow list members. The question was is anyone out there
happy that they feel good?? I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago, at age 49. I
never really felt good ever, and the last 4 yrs before dx, I was
extremely ill off and on. It took a week of hospitalization, 11
transfusions and IVS for 7 days to dx me. Please don't ask why -- today,
it is beyond me.... Anyway, I feel SOOOO GOOOD all the time. I have had
occassional problems with hidden glutens, but even then, I kNOW it will
pass, and i will feel good again. My family can't get over how much
better I look and feel. I gained wt ( I looked like I came from a 3rd
world country)(My admitting physical described me as a severly
malnourished 49 yr old -- and it took them a week!!!). and have
incredible energy. I try to channel that energy into helping other
celiacs feel as good as I do, but being active in our local support
group. I really feel, for MOST of us, the key is 100% gf. there are so
many worse illnesses out there, that I feel this is not a deal. Mary in
