There is an interesting podcast discussion of a study which showed that
gluten can cause brain atrophy in gluten-sensitives even in the absence of
gluten enteropathy.  This atrophy can result in ataxia and other neurologic

BTW In error, millet was cited as a gluten-containing grain - a correction
was issued in episode #53 to say that millet does not contain gluten.
